Crop guidance
Professional crop guidance supports the grower in achieving a healthy crop, optimal production, and efficient use of water, fertilizer, energy, and labor. Guidance can take place both on-site and remotely.
On-site crop guidance
On-site, we bring our advice directly into the greenhouse. We combine what we observe in the crop with your cultivation data and the grower's experience, so that every piece of advice fits the practice of your business.
During visits to the cultivation business, we assess the pre-established cultivation plan and the current status of the crop. We look at growth, crop development, production, quality, crop balance, and crop health.
In addition, we assess and optimize the key components of the cultivation process:
- Climate and climate strategy
- Irrigation strategy
- Water analyses and nutrition recipes
- Crop work and labor planning
- Crop protection
- Energy consumption
- Labor
The observations in the greenhouse are combined with the available cultivation data and the grower's knowledge and experience. Based on this, we provide practical advice and adjust the cultivation plan when the current situation calls for it.
After each visit, the grower receives a clear visit report with the key observations, advice, agreements made, and concrete action points.
Remote crop guidance (online)
Remotely, we monitor the crop throughout the season, without travel time. We combine your climate, irrigation, and crop data with your observations in the greenhouse, so you can adjust quickly and precisely.
Remote crop guidance offers the opportunity to monitor cultivation regularly and efficiently. For this, we assess climate data, irrigation and fertilization data, crop registrations, and current photos of the crop, among other things.
The grower's input and opinion are essential here. By combining this practical information with the available data, crop registrations, and the pre-established cultivation plan, a complete picture of the current situation emerges.
During an online consultation, we discuss the development and status of the crop. Based on this, we advise on any adjustments to:
- Climate settings
- Irrigation strategy and watering
- Fertilization and nutrient balance
- Crop work
- Crop protection
- Energy use
After each online meeting, the grower receives a clear summary of the topics discussed, advice, agreements, and action points. This allows for quick and targeted adjustments, keeping the cultivation strategy aligned with the crop's development throughout the season.
