Expertise

Twenty-five years in high-tech greenhouses, translated into decisions your crop team can move forward with tomorrow. From day-to-day crop steering to the strategy behind a new greenhouse complex: practical growing expertise, data, and international project experience come together in one independent piece of advice.

Where my expertise lies

Five areas where growers ask for my support. They often overlap, and that's exactly where the best results emerge.

01

High-wire crops

Tomato, cucumber, and bell pepper in glass and semi-closed greenhouses, from young plant to the end of the crop cycle. I steer on crop balance, fruit set, and quality, and translate that into concrete actions for your team.

02

Climate & water

Read the plant first, then adjust the climate computer, screening, irrigation, and EC accordingly. This creates a greenhouse climate that keeps growth, efficiency, and energy consumption in balance.

03

Team & training

Training growers and crop staff, so the knowledge stays after my visit to your company. From crop registration to cultivation decisions: your team takes the lead.

04

New-build projects

Support with design, start-up, and the first seasons of a new greenhouse complex. From variety choice and planting schedules to fine-tuning climate and water in practice.

05

Digital growing

From cultivation models such as QMS, Source.ag, and Sera.ag to data platforms like LetsGrow.com and climate computers from Ridder, Priva, and Hoogendoorn: I translate up-to-date data and digital technology into concrete, current, and well-founded crop advice.

Digital growing

By combining crop knowledge with up-to-date data and digital technology, crop advice becomes more concrete, more current, and better substantiated.

We have experience with various cultivation models such as QMS, Source.ag, and Sera.ag, and with data platforms such as Source.ag and LetsGrow.com.

These systems make it possible to give a clear overview of climate, water, crop, and produce data. Anomalies are recognized faster, developments are tracked better, and cultivation strategies are adjusted in time.

In addition, we have extensive experience with the climate computers and automation systems from Ridder, Priva, and Hoogendoorn. By combining crop data, field observations, and the grower's input, we translate digital information into clear advice and practical settings for day-to-day cultivation.

A passion for the perfect crop

With decades of experience in Dutch and international tomato growing, I know that success in the greenhouse depends on the right balance between biology and technology. You won't find that balance only in a report, but above all in the day-to-day steering of the plant.

Driven by my passion for the profession, I'm glad to share my knowledge and experience with growers and crop staff. Olive Tree Support exists because growers deserve independent and honest advice that goes further than a report. We stand together with you in the crop until the desired result is achieved: measurable in yield, quality, or cost.
